Job summary

Coding Alpaca is building web apps, internal tools, and cloud services. We ship features end-to-end, using TypeScript on the frontend and Node or Python on the backend, with Postgres in the middle.

You'll own small projects, contribute to architecture, collaborate with PMs and clients, and help with deployment, monitoring, and production debugging when a project goes live. Strong TS/React skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of professional software development with at least one shipped production product.
• Strong TypeScript and React proficiency.
• Fluent SQL with ability to reason about schemas.
• Clear written communication in PRs, docs, and standups.

Responsibilities

• Ship features end-to-end across the stack using TS on frontend and Node or Python on backend.

What we're looking for

• 01 Three-plus years of professional software development, with at least one shipped production product you can talk about in detail.
• 02 Strong TypeScript and React, comfortable in at least one backend ecosystem (Node, Python, or Go).
• 03 You read and write SQL fluently and can reason about database schemas.
• 04 You communicate clearly in writing — PRs, design docs, and async standups all feel natural.
