Overview

The Web Developer 3 is responsible for using relevant tools and technologies to develop test deploy and support prospect and customer facing websites web applications and HTML-based assets.

This position is hybrid or remote in Sao Paulo

What you will be doing

• Develop websites, web applications, and HTML-based assets with minimal oversight
• Develop and document reusable code structures that are scalable and production ready
• Monitor production and troubleshoot more complex issues to ensure website stability
• Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; may provide feedback to leadership on technical abilities of team
• Estimate, plan and prioritize incoming work; perform peer code reviews and assist with leading peer code reviews
• Research and recommend technology solutions and services to further business objectives with minimal oversight
• Test code to verify it meets requirements and works as intended prior to submitting for code review
• Work between multiple delivery platforms and browsers, and optimize output to match the specific user context

What will make you successful

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Significant experience as a Web Developer
• Strong understanding and experience with semantic HTML, modern CSS and JavaScript, and a component driven approach utilizing front-end frameworks and libraries (E.g. Vue, Svelte, Angular)
• Strong experience with responsive web design
• Good experience with agile development practices
• Strong verbal communication skills, active listening skills and interpersonal skills
• Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within a team as well as with all levels of employees in other areas
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of modern web browsers
• Strong understanding of SEO and UX principles
• Strong working knowledge of Git
• Good understanding of CLI (Powershell or Bash)
• Demonstrates curiosity, passion and proactivity
• Possesses a team mentality and believes in collective success
• Up to 5% travel time required
