Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Medical Receptionist with Tebra experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology, organizational skills, and remote work capability. Responsibilities include:

  • Answering calls and responding to voicemails professionally
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments for therapy sessions
  • Verifying insurance benefits and obtaining authorizations
  • Managing calendars and communicating updates
  • Handling intake paperwork and onboarding new patients
  • Addressing patient inquiries regarding services and billing
  • Maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Communicating via email, phone, and secure messaging
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Tebra (must have)
  • 1-2 years as a Medical Receptionist
  • Understanding of behavioral therapy terminology and workflows
  • Familiarity with mental health insurance processes
  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate tone
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, Google Workspace, and scheduling software
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Reliable internet and a quiet home office
Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Hourly rate: $5/hr for first 3 months, then $6/hr
  • Time zone: PST (Pacific Time)
  • Full-time (35+ hours/week)
