About the Role
We are looking for a visionary and hands-on VP of Marketing to lead our global marketing organization. You will set the direction for a multidisciplinary team in brand, content, product marketing, business marketing, design, and partnerships, ensuring we accelerate awareness, reinforce positioning, and drive business growth across all regions.
You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, product, and regional leaders to develop high-impact go-to-market strategies, scale global campaigns, and turn Rocket Lab’s unique story into a driver of trust and demand.
What You’ll Own
- Lead and mentor Rocket Lab’s global marketing team, fostering collaboration, clarity of direction, and high performance across all functions.
- Own the brand strategy globally—growing awareness in new markets while protecting our positioning in established regions.
- Drive Rocket Lab’s strategic narrative and key messaging across all internal and external touchpoints, working closely with product and executive leadership.
- Shape and execute the company’s corporate communications strategy to build long-term trust with clients, partners, and the industry.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and country managers to orchestrate go-to-market strategies for new product launches and regional entries.
- Oversee the Product Marketing function, ensuring compelling value propositions, sales enablement tools, and clear differentiation in the market.
- Be accountable for demand generation, working with revenue teams to drive SQLs and new business opportunities across the funnel.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to create initiatives that fuel upsell and cross-sell of Rocket Lab’s solutions.
- Lead the strategy for ecosystem partnerships, including adtech, martech, and agency alliances—activating co-marketing and collaboration frameworks that contribute to demand generation and strengthen Rocket Lab’s reputation and trust in the market.
Who You Are
- A strong and proven marketing leader with 10+ years of experience, including senior or executive roles at high-growth tech, SaaS, media, or adtech companies.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage, inspire, and scale a high-performance global team.
- A strategic business mind with deep marketing expertise and a track record of connecting brand strategy with revenue impact.
- Comfortable in fast-growth environments, with the ability to balance day-to-day execution with long-term planning and vision.
- Experienced in partnering closely with sales and product teams to align initiatives and go-to-market plans
- A strong communicator and storyteller who builds alignment and trust across functions and with external audiences.
- Data-driven, impact-oriented, and focused on delivering measurable business results through marketing.
