We are seeking a talented UX/UI designer to join our Digital Farming Solutions team. As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces for our digital products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and UX designers, to translate concepts into engaging user experiences. Your exceptional design skills, attention to detail, and understanding of user-centric design principles will be essential in creating intuitive interfaces that enhance our farmers’ satisfaction and overall product usability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to understand project requirements and user needs; Create visually appealing and intuitive user interface designs for digital products, including websites, mobile applications, and software applications; Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and provide necessary design assets.
• Develop workflows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts; Ensure consistency and adherence to the PTx Design System throughout all design deliverables.
• Gather feedback from internal and/or external users to iterate and improve design solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and incorporate feedback, balancing business goals with user needs.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX and UI design and implement them into design processes.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to creating a positive user experience across all digital products.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Senior experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing the ability to create simple, well-thought workflows and experiences that solve problems;
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices;
• Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, icon design, and color theory;
• Experience in creating user workflows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively collaborate with developers (advantageous).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, providing and receiving constructive feedback;
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
