The Site Facing Line Manager (SFLM) supports clinical study execution by assisting clinical research staff in task execution dedicated to specific studies or groups of studies at research sites, with the goal of accelerating study deliverables. The role aims to ensure quality delivery of site worker services and overall performance throughout the study lifecycle.

This role is home-based.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Collaborate with the PSCS team and project delivery teams to support execution of study tasks for site workers supporting research sites as part of the SES project scope.
  2. Engage with workers and internal team members to ensure high-quality delivery of tasks with significant impact.
  3. Ensure administrative requirements of site workers are met, including timecoding and timesheet completion.
  4. Enable site workers to perform required tasks by:
  • Ensuring technical access to systems required by IQVIA.
  • Order and track supplies for site workers.
  • Communicate with site workers and project teams to monitor and improve service quality and impact.
  • Make operational and tactical recommendations based on site and study performance.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and manage performance.
  • Document tasks and activities in departmental systems (e.g., WMT).
  • Participate in candidate selection by conducting interviews and liaising with HR, staffing partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage effort forecasting for assigned sites.
  • Serve as an escalation point for site worker challenges.
  • Contribute to process development and improvement projects.
  • Mentor SES colleagues as needed.
  • REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    • Approximately 5 years of experience in clinical trials.
    • Knowledge of patient recruitment practices and site-based processes and workflows.
    • Ability to apply ICH/GCP and regulatory guidelines in service delivery.
    • Languages:
    • - Based in Argentina: Native Spanish, advanced English, and Portuguese.
    • - Based in Brazil: Native Portuguese, advanced Spanish, and English.
    • Previous people management experience preferred.
    • Effective time management and organizational skills to handle competing priorities.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic, global environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to build strong relationships and use a consultative approach.
    • Experience in interviewing and candidate selection for site assignments is a plus.
