Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
• Postgraduate degree or MBA in Supply Chain is a plus.
• Solid background in transportation management, routing and outbound logistics, preferably FMCG.
• Proficient in SAP (Logistics/Transportation module).
• Advanced data visualization and analysis tools (Google Tools, Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with leadership by influence.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve transportation exceptions, returns, damages and claims with customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Demand Planning and DC Operations.

Transportation Coordinator

Job Summary

We are looking for a Customer Freight Coordinator to lead and optimize our outbound transportation operations. This professional will be the critical link between our distribution centers and the final customer (retail and wholesale), ensuring that our products reach their destination on time, in full, and with operational excellence. This position requires an analytical mindset, a strong focus on the customer experience, negotiation skills, and a strategic vision to balance freight costs with service levels (OTIF).

Responsibilities

• Delivery Management & Service Level: Coordinate the daily outbound shipping and transportation flow to customers, ensuring delivery windows are met and maximizing the OTIF (On-Time In-Full) metric.
• Carrier Relationship Management: Manage the performance of logistics partners, monitor SLAs, conduct alignment meetings, and ensure transportation capacity (dedicated and spot) to meet demand peaks.
• Cost Management: Control and analyze the freight budget (freight as a % of sales), approve rate cards, identify deviations, and implement action plans to reduce costs without impacting service levels.
• Continuous Improvement & Projects: Lead initiatives for logistics network optimization, smart routing, and load synergies, aligning these efforts with Colgate’s global sustainability goals (CO2 emission reduction).
• Exception Management & Troubleshooting: Act swiftly to resolve transportation exceptions, returns, damages, and claims, interacting directly with customers to minimize friction.
• Cross-Functional Integration: Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, Demand Planning (S&OP), and DC Operations to align customer expectations with logistical realities.

Requirements And Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A postgraduate degree or MBA in Supply Chain is a plus.
• Experience: Solid background in transportation management, routing, and outbound logistics, preferably within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SAP (Logistics/Transportation module).
• Analytical Mindset: Advanced proficiency in data visualization and analysis tools (Google Tools, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical profile, leadership by influence, excellent communication, resilience to work under pressure, and strong negotiation skills.
• Languages: Intermediate or Advanced English (required for metric reporting, global alignments, and accessing training materials).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of programming languages tailored for data analysis (Python and SQL).
• Differential: Knowledge of Python programming and process automation tools to drive efficiency and optimize logistics routines is considered a strong plus.
