Introduction
As the PSD Associate, you will be responsible for the successful implementation, post-close administration, and risk participation of Trade products, including Supply Chain Finance and Structured Working Capital, in the Latam region.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Latam Team Lead and covering Structured Trade Products, the main objectives of this position are:
- Deal execution, collaborating with Originators to structure appropriate facilities supporting revenue targets.
- Post-close monitoring and management of the portfolio, adhering to transactional control conditions to minimize operational risk.
- Seamless client engagement.
- Managing the transactional control aspects of credit-related Trade products.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product origination teams to structure facilities supporting revenue goals.
- Manage the technical implementation process for establishing facilities efficiently, including connectivity setups, file validation, UAT testing with clients, and go-live into JPMC platforms.
- Ensure compliance with transactional control conditions to minimize operational risk and identify areas for control development or adjustment.
- Manage facilities in accordance with contractual obligations, including timely and accurate reporting.
- Produce metrics for external and internal reporting.
- Act as the main contact for internal stakeholders such as Risk Management, Credit, Middle Office, Sales, Product, and Operations.
- Perform applicable regulatory controls based on the country of booking.
- In Risk Participation, onboard new investors and execute asset distribution transactions, liaising directly with investors.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good understanding of Trade Finance products; practical knowledge and experience with structured transactions are advantageous.
- Ability to work in a global team environment across multiple disciplines and locations, managing multiple tasks within the broader PSD team.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines and engaging with stakeholders including Sales, Products, Legal, and Operations.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working with Trade Products.
- Prior customer service and client care experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented with an audit and compliance mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for monitoring and reporting.
- Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Brazil & Mexico regulatory frameworks is a plus.
