Role: Tosca Test Automation Engineer / Tosca Tester

Role Overview:

The Tosca Tester is responsible for automating test scenarios using Tricentis Tosca, ensuring high-quality software delivery through efficient and reusable test automation frameworks. The role involves collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to understand requirements, build automation strategies, and maintain robust test coverage across applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca
• Design and model reusable test modules and test cases for both functional and regression testing
• Perform test data management using Tosca Test Data Service (TDS)
• Execute automated tests and analyze results, logging defects as needed
• Integrate Tosca tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Support test planning, execution, and reporting activities
• Conduct API and UI test automation
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to align testing efforts with development sprints
  
  

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (Commander, TBox, Modules, ExecutionLists)
• Knowledge of test design techniques and test case optimization
• Experience with test data creation and parameterization
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray, HP ALM)
• Basic understanding of SQL and API testing
• Experience with Agile/DevOps practices
  
  

Nice-to-Have:

• Tosca Certifications (e.g., Automation Specialist Level 1 & 2)
• Experience in SAP, Salesforce, Web, or Desktop application testing
• Scripting or coding skills (Java, Python, VBScript)
