Job Duties

Under strict supervision, performs maintenance functions such as repairs on down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment related to down-hole tools. Assembles and disassembles down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment. Basic computer skills are preferred. Licensure to operate commercial equipment may be required. Effective communication skills are necessary due to the nature of oil field service work. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are necessary. This is an entry-level position within the tool tech family. Promotes safety awareness, environmental consciousness, and complies with all safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. Actively participates in quality improvement processes.
