Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client end and ensure it meets 100% quality assurance parameters.

Status Reporting and Customer Focus

• Ensure good quality interaction with customers regarding email content, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette.
• Deliver reports and dashboards on time, including WSRs and test execution reports.
• Update efforts accurately in project trackers like eCube and TMS.
• Respond promptly to customer requests, maintaining high satisfaction and avoiding complaints.

Do

• Understand test requirements and design test cases accordingly.
• Author test plans based on business and testable requirements.
• Implement testing methods, including model-based testing, to improve efficiency.
• Peer review test cases to minimize rework.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and version test cases.
• Define testing scope and participate in UAT.
• Automate test lifecycle stages using VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc.

Experience in Selenium or other tools (Java, JavaScript, Python) is required.

Design and execute automation frameworks and reporting

• Develop and automate software validation tests, set up test environments, and execute test cases.
• Raise and track defects, ensuring they meet project standards.
• Report test progress and defect details clearly.
• Ensure work items are delivered within SLA and norms.
• Generate and share test status dashboards post-execution.
• Provide usability feedback and report quality risks to stakeholders.

Performance Parameters

• Understand test requirements and design error-free testing solutions with minimal process exceptions, achieving 100% SLA compliance.
• Execute test cases efficiently, deliver on time, troubleshoot within TAT, and maintain high CSAT scores.
