JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides input for colleagues' performance appraisals.
• Assists Test Engineers when commissioning new test equipment.
• Provides technical assistance to other technicians on the same shift.
• Supports manufacturing line for all test processes.
• Responds promptly to "machine down" calls.
• Coordinates with manufacturing to determine repair priorities.
• Ensures availability of adequate spares for all equipment.
• Performs Preventative Maintenance at scheduled intervals.
• Coordinates Preventative Maintenance to avoid production disruptions.
• Escalates unresolved issues to Test Engineers.
• Instructs operators on safe and effective use of test equipment.
• Prepares daily reports of line issues.
• Prepares downtime reports periodically.
• Sources cost-effective spares from suppliers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Effective communication skills for interacting with managers, clients, and the public.
• Problem-solving skills with data analysis and logical reasoning.
• Proficiency in Windows OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with Jabil’s software packages.
• Basic writing skills for simple correspondence.
• Ability to understand and follow simple instructions.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to interpret graphs and data.
