EPAM Systems seeks a senior technical consultant with deep hands-on Microsoft platform expertise. You will shape solution blueprints, run client workshops, and lead architecture discussions while ensuring delivery excellence across Microsoft programs.

Hybrid role with flexibility to work from Montenegro offices or remotely within the country, engaging in client-facing activities and collaborating with global teams to raise technical standards.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Sales & Delivery Management teams to engage prospects throughout the sales lifecycle, from first meeting through close
• Contribute to the scoping and authoring of proposals and statements of work for complex Microsoft engagements
• Support the design of project teaming models and produce accurate effort and cost estimates
• Clearly communicate scope, assumptions, and risk to both technical and executive audiences
• Design Azure and Microsoft platform solutions spanning application modernization, data platforms, AI/ML, and Copilot/Fabric workloads
• Analyze client application and data estates; develop transformation roadmaps and next‑generation architecture
• Produce solution architecture documentation covering key technical decisions and implementation approach
• Participate in solution design reviews and contribute technical oversight across active engagements
• Support development efforts and help resolve technical challenges within the team
• Share expertise with EPAM engineers and contribute to raising technical standards across the practice
• Stay current on Microsoft platform developments and bring emerging capabilities into client conversations
• Actively contribute to EPAM's knowledge base and internal communities around the Microsoft ecosystem

This Technology Consulting role is designed for a senior technical consultant with deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft platforms. You will actively contribute to solution design and delivery excellence — engaging in technical discovery, architecture definition, and proof-of-concept development while bringing strong technical credibility to client engagements. Approximately half your time will be spent working directly with clients — running workshops, shaping solution blueprints, and validating technical approaches; the other half contributing to delivery quality and architectural consistency across active Microsoft programs.

This position offers hybrid setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Montenegro, whether it's your home or our dynamic offices in Herceg‑Novi and Podgorica.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Azure and the broader Microsoft platform across application modernization, data and analytics, and AI/ML workloads
• Proven experience delivering complex, multi‑workload Microsoft implementations at enterprise scale
• Demonstrated experience in client‑facing consulting roles with confidence in leading architecture discussions with senior technical and business stakeholders
• Experience supporting presales activity, including scoping engagements, writing proposals, and contributing to deal closure
• Solid solution architecture fundamentals across application stacks (REST, containers, serverless, front‑end/back‑end) and data/AI stacks (relational, non‑relational, GenAI, ML)
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and DevOps tooling (IaC, CI/CD, automated deployment)
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex technical concepts into business language
• Background in large‑scale software development or data engineering to credibly contribute to technical conversations on either side
