Cummins Inc. is looking for a Field Service Mechanic to join our high-performing field service team.

You will perform breakdown and preventative maintenance on heavy diesel engines, including major and minor repairs, and work autonomously or in a team, collaborating with OEMs such as Komatsu, Hitachi, and Liebherr. The ideal candidate holds a relevant trade qualification in Heavy Diesel or related fields, a valid driver’s license, and has experience servicing mining equipment.

Qualificações

• Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel, Plant, or Light Vehicle also considered).
• A valid driver’s license.
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in service and maintenance of heavy diesel products and mining equipment is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform breakdown and preventative tasks.
• Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor.
• Work autonomously as well as in a great team environment.
• Collaborate with other major OEMs – Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr.

We are looking for a talented Field Service Mechanic to join our high performing field service team. The Gunnedah Basin mining region is home to over 170 Cummins High Horsepower engines , powering a range of mining equipment.

This is a 7/7 Roster, for either someone local to Tamworth, or a Drive in, drive out opportunity can be available.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Perform breakdown and preventative tasks
• Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor
• Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment
• Work with other major OEM’s – Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel, Plant, or Light Vehicle also considered)
• A valid driver’s license
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, engines and similar applications is preferred
