Google's LATAM Regional Technical Program Manager III position in São Paulo focuses on design, construction, and capital projects for GSN Landing Station builds, leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• 5 years of experience in mission-critical facilities (data centers, etc.).
• 5 years of experience in the design-build or real estate development environment.

Responsabilités

• Drive end-to-end construction program management including interface, schedule management, cost control, and construction agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide regional insight, program performance reporting, risk management, and budget trajectory.
• Lead region-specific vendor/agreement bench development, pre-qualification, and agreement execution strategy.
• Support land evaluation/geophysical analysis to understand site-related risks and support design development for preconstruction deliverables.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management or related technical fields.
• Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of facilities with medium voltage and low voltage electrical distribution systems to include AC and DC systems and associated power management systems and SCADA tools.
• Experience with data center construction and associated systems, including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security systems, fire life safety systems.
• Demonstrated history of success managing the owners team to deliver industrial type capital projects including engineering, construction management, and project controls.

You will be focused on design, construction, and capital project support for ongoing Google Submarine Networks (GSN) Landing Station builds. You will provide strategic and tactical leadership over large build projects, collaborate with teams of engineers and project managers, and serve as the partner/vendor development lead for key general and trade-level contractors.

As a LATAM Regional Program Manager (RPM), you are responsible for the delivery and execution of GSN construction in LATAM. You will deliver business value by developing strategy and delivering against the business requirements with agility. The LATAM RPM will be part of a wider team of program managers and engineers who manage large-scale construction projects as part of a global program.
