Job Description

Eurofins develops all of our software applications in-house to support our laboratories globally. With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed daily, our laboratories strive to ensure every patient, wherever they live, has access to specialized and innovative diagnostic techniques. Technology plays a crucial role in planning and organization of these activities.

What business will you support?

Eurofins is developing eLIMS-NG, the ‘Eurofins Laboratory Information Management System - Next Generation’. eLIMS-NG is a comprehensive suite of tools and applications to support testing in our laboratories worldwide.

How can you help us?

As a Technical Lead, you will deliver high-quality software (design, code, tests, documentation) and accelerate delivery. We seek a software craftsman to contribute to developing, troubleshooting, testing, and documenting enterprise web applications and services.

You will promote high-quality engineering practices, adhere to Eurofins guidelines throughout the SDLC, and collaborate with users, analysts, architects, deployment teams, and stakeholders to design fit-for-purpose software and features.

You will also develop relationships within the Eurofins IT community and internal customers, fostering a positive team environment.

As a Technical Lead, you will interact with Product Owners and stakeholders to:

  • Estimate complexity and workload;
  • Choose appropriate technical solutions;
  • Define goals, and develop PoCs for new solutions;
  • Design, develop, deploy, and support IT applications;
  • Maintain and optimize existing solutions;
  • Collaborate with Dev/QA teams to ensure quality;
  • Ensure best practices and standards are followed;
  • Mentor 1 to 2 Scrum Teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience developing end-to-end solutions, with strong knowledge of .NET, C#, MVC, WCF, Rest, WebAPI, NUnit/MSUnit, and Angular;
  • At least 2 years in a technical/development lead role;
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and n-tier architecture;
  • Experience in test-driven development and automation;
  • Full stack development skills (frontend and backend);
  • Proficiency with MS SQL databases;
  • Knowledge of Cloud concepts and services (Docker, EKS);
  • Understanding of OOP and design principles (SOLID);
  • Ability to provide technical recommendations and solve problems independently;
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, preferably SCRUM;
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;
  • Good English communication skills (written and oral); knowledge of another language is a plus.

Additional Information

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00, Hybrid Work model.
