About Our Client

Our client is a trusted IT infrastructure and cybersecurity company serving mid-sized organizations (typically 250-750 employees) in biotech, medical device, and information-driven industries. They provide comprehensive IT solutions with a focus on reliability, security, and technical expertise.

The Opportunity

As an Enterprise Systems Engineer specializing in Microsoft Infrastructure Azure, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining complex IT solutions at an expert level for multiple clients. You'll architect Azure environments that are reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives while maintaining high service quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions, including VM deployments, virtual networks, and cloud migration strategies
• Independently execute 90% of service offerings with technical expertise
• Manage 2-3 concurrent projects with complete understanding of scope, timeline, budget, and resources
• Lead client migrations from on-premises or colocation environments to Azure
• Create comprehensive processes and procedures for internal documentation and end-user how-to documentation
• Draft client-ready Statements of Work (SOWs) with clear objectives, detailed tasks, and realistic timelines
• Support the sales team with pre-sales technical efforts, building project plans and scope documents
• Collaborate with team members to address gaps and issues, providing recommendations and adapting to changing needs
• Enter and track time in ConnectWise in 15-minute increments (average of 120 billable hours per month)

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of IT Infrastructure and IT project deployment / implementation experience
• Extensive experience managing IT infrastructures in Azure at an expert level
• Microsoft 365 and Azure certification(s) strongly preferred (MS-102, AZ-104, AZ-305)
• Advanced troubleshooting abilities with a proven methodology
• Strong cybersecurity knowledge, including multi-factor authentication, encryption methods, SSL certificates
• Expertise in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) in enterprise environments
• Experience managing backup solutions in enterprise environments
• Deep proficiency in networking (DNS, TCP / IP, routing, firewall management)
• Extensive experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, Entra ID, and PowerShell
• Experience architecting solutions for organizations with 250+ employees
