Jobgether seeks a Tech Lead - Software Engineering (Integrations) in Brazil. You will lead an integrations-focused team, connecting CRMs, ERPs and enterprise tools via native connectors and partnerships.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, ensure reliability, and own technical decisions in a remote, collaborative environment. You will design scalable integration architectures, drive testing standards, and partner with Product Managers to deliver valuable, cost-effective integration

Qualificações

• 5+ years backend development experience, preferably with Ruby on Rails or Go.
• 2+ years in technical leadership or as a technical reference for an engineering squad.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS; observability tools like Datadog or Grafana.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tech Lead - Software Engineering (Integrations) based in Brazil.

This role is a key technical leadership position within an integrations-focused engineering team, responsible for building scalable systems and high-performance solutions. You will help connect business platforms such as CRMs, ERPs, and other enterprise tools through native integrations, connectors, and strategic partnerships. Beyond hands-on senior-level engineering, you will serve as the team’s primary technical reference, bridging engineering, product, and business needs. You will influence architecture, technical standards, developer experience, and engineering practices across the team. The role combines technical depth, mentorship, architectural decision-making, and operational ownership in a collaborative remote environment.

Accountabilities

As Tech Lead, you will combine hands-on software engineering with technical leadership, helping the team deliver reliable integration solutions while continuously raising engineering standards. You will work closely with product and design stakeholders, mentor engineers, and take ownership of technical decisions and production reliability.

• Develop and evolve core product capabilities using Ruby on Rails or Go, delivering scalable features that create meaningful value.
• Design and evolve integration architectures, making key decisions around technology stacks, patterns, trade-offs, and maintainability.
• Serve as the technical reference for the team, supporting backend and frontend engineers and ensuring cohesive collaboration across both areas.
• Mentor engineers at different levels through code reviews, technical guidance, debugging, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Establish and maintain engineering quality standards covering clean code, automated testing, refactoring, technical design documentation, and observability.
• Promote unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as effective use of logs, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Break complex technical problems into incremental deliverables, identify risks early, and contribute to estimation and technical planning.
• Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers to develop technically viable solutions while balancing technical cost, complexity, and business value.
• Translate technical concepts and trade-offs clearly for non-technical stakeholders.
• Support production operations and critical incidents following a "you build it, you run it" approach, with a focus on availability, resilience, and continuous improvement of MTTR.
• Contribute to AI-powered solutions and integrations that can improve products and engineering processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced backend engineer with strong technical leadership capabilities and a track record of making architectural decisions in complex software environments. You should be comfortable mentoring engineers, working across backend and frontend boundaries, and balancing performance, cost, security, and maintainability.

• At least 5 years of backend development experience, preferably with Ruby on Rails or Go.
• At least 2 years of experience in technical leadership or acting as a technical reference for an engineering squad.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including efficient data modeling.
• Experience with modern infrastructure, particularly Kubernetes and AWS.
• Solid knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or Grafana.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Sidekiq, SQS, or Kafka.
• Proficiency in automated testing, including RSpec or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs and strong proficiency with Git and Linux.
• Familiarity with LLM integrations, AI frameworks, or data-driven feature development.
• Experience designing systems and making technical decisions involving performance, cost, security, and maintainability trade-offs.
• Sufficient frontend knowledge to review architectural decisions, discuss trade-offs, and ensure effective backend/frontend integration without necessarily implementing frontend code.
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills, combined with autonomy, proactivity, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Critical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities for complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience developing system integrations, including third-party APIs, webhooks, CRMs, ERPs, or connector platforms, is a plus.
• Experience providing technical support to corporate or enterprise accounts, including gathering specific requirements and adapting solutions while preserving long-term maintainability, is a plus.
