Are you an experienced developer passionate about building scalable and cost-efficient serverless applications? Join our growing nearshore team at Stefanini LATAM , supporting a leading U.S. company in the environmental services and waste management industry.
We are looking for a Tech Lead Developer with strong hands-on experience in AWS Lambda, Step Functions , and NodeJS , to lead the design and implementation of solutions for a large-scale Business Process Automation project focused on customer notifications.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and maintain serverless applications using AWS services
Write clean, efficient, and scalable NodeJS code for AWS Lambda functions
Design Step Function workflows to orchestrate complex processes
Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of serverless solutions
Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Product, QA)
Lead by example through code reviews and best practices
Required Qualifications
Experience with NodeJS development
Proven expertise in AWS serverless architecture, including:
Lambda, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, EventBridge, SQS, API Gateway
Experience with Terraform for IaC
Strong SQL and data modeling skills
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
Fluency in English (written & spoken)
Available to work aligned with Pacific Time (PST)
AWS certification (Developer / Solutions Architect)
Experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB Streams, Elasticache/DAX
Knowledge of Splunk , Serverless Framework , ECS/Fargate
Understanding of disaster recovery practices and advanced DynamoDB modeling
