Tech Lead Cloud Platform Developer/Python

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop high-performance cloud and container technologies primarily using Python.
2. Deliver high-quality solutions and code.
3. Create unit tests to improve the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
4. Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration.
5. Participate actively in all aspects of an agile software development process.
6. Collaborate within a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant/carrier-grade development.
7. Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform for deploying private cloud solutions at the core of 5G and distributed Edge deployments worldwide.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Solid backend development experience, preferably in Python, with knowledge of Linux essentials:
2. Understanding of hardware, processes, programs, and Linux OS components.
3. Proficiency with command line and file management.
4. Ability to create and restore compressed backups and archives.
5. Knowledge of system security, including users, groups, and file permissions.
6. Ability to create and run simple scripts.
7. Interest in developing and troubleshooting a highly distributed orchestration platform supporting multiple vendors.
8. Experience collaborating remotely across teams and with senior technical leaders.
9. Proficiency with GIT, Jira, GitLab, and code review tools.
10. Strong understanding of computer networking at application (HTTP/HTTPS/SIP, etc.) and transport (TCP/UDP, etc.) layers.
11. Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Linux Containers.
12. Knowledge of cloud computing concepts (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
13. Experience with Kubernetes cluster administration, including infrastructure design, configuration, control, and monitoring.
14. Experience with Kubernetes application development.
15. Experience with PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ as a developer.
16. Experience with Docker and Helm.
