Job Summary

The Team Lead of the Acquisition Team will be responsible for designing, writing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and high-performance application software in an agile environment. This role includes leading development efforts, resolving technical issues, and continuously enhancing development processes. The Senior Java Developer will also mentor junior developers and take on leadership responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance automated build and deploy processes using modern CI/CD tools.
• Develop deployment instructions and ensure successful deployments.
• Design and implement automated unit testing frameworks.
• Conduct thorough unit testing and code reviews.
• Explain complex problems and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Design, write, and edit technical and process documentation.
• Translate business requirements into innovative technology solutions.
• Take ownership of technical aspects and drive projects to completion.
• Support Product Owners and Business Analysts by explaining technical constraints.
• Develop solution designs and estimate work efforts.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, enhance, and document software components.
• Participate in design and peer reviews.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Collaborate with the team to reduce risks.
• Support applications outside of normal business hours as needed.
• Mentor and guide junior developers.
• Lead development efforts and ensure best practices are followed.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Proactively identify and address team challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications And Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, REST, SOAP, Microservices, GIT, JUnit, Mockito.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in ReactJS and NodeJS.
• Ability to understand the existing development stack involving microservices and React applications.
• Experience with content management systems like Bloomreach.
• Experience with React.js workflows such as Flux or Redux.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Preferred: SQL Query, Tomcat, Jenkins, Maven, Hibernate, JQuery, JavaScript.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience in Agile development practices.
• Ability to anticipate and remediate technical issues.
• Ability to analyze software requirements for feasibility within time and budget constraints.
