Position: Software Engineering Team Lead – Backend (.NET/.NET Core)

About the Role

HumanIT is seeking an experienced Backend Engineering Team Lead to join our fast-paced, product-driven tech environment. This role is suited for a hands-on engineering leader who excels in technical challenges and people development.

You will lead a multidisciplinary, autonomous Scrum team and be involved in designing and developing high-traffic, real-time backend systems. This is a 50/50 hybrid role: part leadership, part individual contribution.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor backend software engineers through 1:1s, code reviews, pair programming, and feedback.
2. Maintain high engineering standards and support career development for team members.
3. Collaborate with Product and Architecture teams to define technical strategies and ensure delivery.
4. Own system architecture and contribute to coding, debugging, and performance tuning.
5. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
6. Database: MS SQL Server
7. Infrastructure: OpenShift
