Job Description

This role will be based in São Paulo, Brazil.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

We’re looking for a high-performing, results-driven Account Director to join our Large Enterprise team, with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for solving talent challenges through LinkedIn’s Talent & Learning solutions. This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with execution excellence, thrives in complex deal environments, and is relentless in pursuing growth.

You will serve as a trusted business partner, building deep relationships while driving revenue, expanding accounts, and delivering measurable value to clients. If you’re motivated by goals, energized by challenges, and committed to long-term client success, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, create, and close new business opportunities within a defined set of strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Understand the client’s business strategy and talent priorities to build tailored, outcome-driven proposals.
  • Lead high-impact conversations across multiple stakeholders — from HR to C-level — adapting messaging and approach to each audience.
  • Sell solutions, not products, aligning LinkedIn’s value proposition with the customer’s specific goals and pain points.
  • Navigate complex negotiations with confidence, applying commercial acumen to craft win-win agreements.
  • Use data and insights to overcome objections and support strategic investment decisions.
  • Proactively manage account health and mitigate churn through a consultative, ROI-focused approach.
  • Map stakeholders, assess relationship depth, and execute targeted engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product Specialists, and Sales Support to ensure consistent customer impact and revenue growth.
  • Inspire across lines of business and regions by exemplifying LinkedIn cultures and values and set the bar for excellence for the rest of the team.
  • Strategically leverage internal leaders, who meet directly with clients, to accelerate business success.
  • Deliver predictable and accurate forecasts, while exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of applicable full-cycle, closing sales experience
  • Native/Fluent in Portuguese
  • Business fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven success in selling SaaS or technology solutions to large enterprise clients in Brazil
  • Experience with HR tech or talent-related platforms
  • Strong understanding of software licensing, pricing models, and commercial negotiations
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and account planning skills
  • Ability to educate, influence, and build consensus among multiple decision makers
  • Track record of developing strategic account plans that lead to long-term growth
  • Experience using insights and data to drive commercial decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with value in a competitive sales environment
