Kyndryl is seeking a Software Engineering – Developer to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge software solutions that deliver value to customers rapidly.

You will work on building, testing, and deploying components, architecting solutions, and driving CI/CD pipelines, with opportunities to grow toward Principal Engineer or leadership roles within a collaborative, hybrid team focused on cloud-based managed services.

Qualificações

• 2–3 years of software engineering experience on development projects.
• Strong coding skills in Java and/or Python.
• Experience delivering maintainable and scalable code.
• Relational databases (SQL); NoSQL exposure a plus.
• REST-based services, JSON, and XML experience.
• Knowledge of microservices, containers (Docker & Kubernetes), and messaging queues.
• Solid understanding of OOP and design patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Architect the solution, test the code, and deploy/maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide work estimates for development tasks and guide features/technologies.

As a Software Engineering – Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting‑edge software solutions. Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit‑tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Who You Are

You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. You also have a growth mindset, are keen to drive your personal and professional development, customer‑focused, and open and borderless, naturally inclusive in how you work with others.

Required Technical And Professional Experience

• 2–3 years of experience working as a Software Engineer on development projects.
• Strong coding skills and solid development experience in Java and/or Python.
• Experience applying software development methodologies to deliver maintainable and scalable code.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases (SQL); exposure to NoSQL is a plus.
• Experience working with REST‑based web services, JSON, and XML.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containers (Docker & Kubernetes), and messaging queues.
• Solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) and common design patterns.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Exposure to DevOps tools and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automation).
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are a plus but not mandatory – certification opportunities are available through Kyndryl.
