Do you want to work in one of the fastest growing and most innovative businesses at Amazon? Amazon Devices is looking for a Supply Chain Manager for its portfolio of devices and accessories.

This role sits within the BR Devices team and is the subject matter expert for supply planning, inventory allocation, order management and vendor support, for a category of current and upcoming Devices, and is responsible to deliver process improvements, automation and customer experience improvements, within the team’s project roadmap.

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for developing and executing best practices in managing inventory, supply chain and operations to maximize customer experience, sales, in-stock rates and inventory turns. This individual has responsibility for ensuring all inventory systems and processes are meeting the needs of the business and implementing controls around these processes. She/He also owns driving improvement in inventory availability and efficiency, purchasing efficiency and costs reduction across the Devices business, solving in a scalable way that will support growth as well as our long-term business strategy.

A successful candidate possesses business judgment, in-stock, supply chain and/or operations management experience, strong skills in working collaboratively and cross functionally, analytical capabilities, including experience handling large and complex data sets.

The position requires an individual who can work both autonomously and collaboratively in a demanding and often ambiguous environment with attention to details and effective prioritization.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Manage our end-to-end planning processes and workflows across the devices network for Amazon Devices
  2. Manage end-to-end importation and distribution processes through Amazon's supply chain
  3. Create and implement inventory allocation strategies to optimize inventory placement, sales, turns, and customer experience
  4. Partner regularly with a broad set of stakeholders including WW planning, sales, finance, marketing and other teams
  5. Own and communicate demand insights and supply allocation plans to key cross-functional internal stakeholders
  6. Facilitate data-driven decision-making with sales and marketing leaders
  7. Invent and simplify processes to ensure we are constantly improving operations for our internal and external customers

About the team
The BR Devices Supply team aims to ensure that Amazon devices and accessories arrive to the right location, at the right time and in the right quantities to be available to our end customers. Doing this well allows our internal customers to take the right actions to drive their business goals. The team collaborates closely with stakeholders, advising on business questions and sharing clear and well-structured insights to help drive informed decision-making.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of supply chain experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
