Job summary

Autoliv in Brazil, focused on vehicle safety, seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier quality performance through audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement. You will implement robust supplier development and quality assurance processes to support manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality or related areas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systemic approach.
• Ability to interpret technical standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Advanced English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
• Experience with automotive products, processes, and supplier development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform supplier audits according to established schedules and quality standards.
• Evaluate robustness and effectiveness of supplier corrective action plans.
• Validate implemented actions at supplier facilities and ensure systemic application of solutions.
• Support problem-solving activities and Jidoka initiatives from issue detection through resolution.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement programs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams to reduce quality issues and customer claims.
• Interpret and apply Autoliv standards, customer specifications, and quality requirements.
• Utilize quality and business systems including L2L, JDE, PLM, GCWin, ManIT, Newton, and GoSeeFix.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring supplier quality performance through audits, problem-solving activities, action plan validation, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will deliver robust supplier development and quality assurance processes that support manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.

• Supporting production and quality activities while promoting Quality, Safety, Environmental, and 5S standards.

If you have/are:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or related areas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systemic approach.
• Ability to interpret technical standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Advanced English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
• Experience with automotive products, processes, and supplier development activities is a plus.
