Jobtailor is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager in Cuiabá/MT to oversee warehouse and transport activities, ensuring inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will work with PETRONAS and customers, monitor KPIs, and lead continuous improvement projects.

The role requires SAP SD experience, strong Excel skills, and occasional travel. A bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in logistics are essential, with Cuiabá residence preferred.

Qualificações

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics or related fields.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in logistics operations, transportation, warehousing or Supply Chain.
Knowledge of SAP, preferably in the SD module.
Advanced Excel skills and Office suite proficiency.
Experience monitoring logistics performance indicators.
Experience dealing with logistics operators, carriers and customers.
Willingness to travel occasionally and onboarding in Contagem/MG.
Residence in Cuiabá/MT is a desired requirement.
Knowledge of handling chemicals and hazardous materials is desirable.

Responsabilidades

Execute and manage the branch's billing routines with compliance to the PLI procedure.
Update procedures and documentation with the logistics operator for audits.
Monitor logistical performance with the sales team and close gaps.
Review procedures with the Quality team for continuous improvement.
Supervise cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
Oversee annual inventory of finished products and supervise physical counts.
Audit third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
Supervise logistics operations in the Central-West region, focusing on warehousing and transportation.
Act as liaison between PETRONAS, customers, logistics operators, carriers and partners.
Initiate initiatives to reduce lead times and increase competitiveness.
Conduct customer visits with Commercial team.
Manage transport and warehousing suppliers and monitor service levels.
Track logistics KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure safety, quality and regulatory requirements for handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
Interact with Commercial, Finance, HSSE and Supply Chain teams.
Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
Support expansion projects and development of logistics network.

Monitor logistical performance in the field with the sales team, diagnose gaps and implement action plans
Review procedures, processes and operational methods together with the Quality team
Implement and supervise cycle counts, controlling inbound and outbound movements to maintain inventory accuracy
Control the annual inventory of finished products and supervise physical counting

Act as the main point of contact between PETRONAS, customers, logistics operators, carriers and partners

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree completed in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics or related fields
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in logistics operations, transportation, warehousing or Supply Chain
Knowledge of SAP, preferably in the SD module
Advanced Office suite skills, with strong Excel proficiency
Experience in managing and monitoring logistics performance indicators
Experience dealing with logistics operators, carriers and customers
Availability for occasional travel
Availability for initial training and onboarding in Contagem/MG
Basic English
Residence in Cuiabá/MT (desired requirement)
Experience with distribution logistics operations (desirable)
Knowledge of handling and storage of chemicals and/or hazardous materials (desirable)
Experience in logistics expansion projects or implementation of new operations (desirable)
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to the transport of chemical cargo (desirable)
