Job Purpose

Provides engineering solutions for the global SDS team, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budgets, with a focus on quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

Job Description
  • Support the execution of global RCAs demand and engineering work (including hand calculations) to reduce or eliminate recurrence.
  • Support service centers and supply chain to mitigate quality issues.
  • Support Parsable template documentation and troubleshooting for offshore installation activities.
  • Engage with the entire value stream to ensure effective cost management, manufacturing, and operations.
You are meant for this job if:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • CREA certification
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Offshore drilling experience preferred, with ability to read and interpret rig data
  • Ability to read, interpret, and prepare technical designs, documentation, and quality tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, and 8D methodology
  • Ability to work with a global team to solve and implement complex solutions into existing product lines
  • Foundational knowledge of relevant industry standards related to SDS (API 5DP, TH Hill DS-1, etc.)
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling software (NX and AutoCAD preferred)
  • Ability to analyze large data sets (PowerBI preferred)
