About the Team

You’ll join a newly formed Strategy & Analytics team at the heart of CloudWalk’s decision-making engine, reporting to our Chief of Strategy & Analytics Officer and working closely with a Senior Analyst. This team partners cross-functionally to drive high-impact initiatives that shape the company’s long-term trajectory.

Our mission is to translate data into strategy, leveraging rigorous internal and external analytics to guide company-wide decisions, transform core products and operations, and support the development of new business models from ideation through execution. What You’ll Do

• Data Modeling & Analysis Build and automate clear, robust Excel/Google Sheet models (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, named ranges, error checks) to surface key trends and questions.
• Data Shaping (SQL & Tools) Extract, transform and validate data—whether via SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, CTEs, window functions) or an equivalent platform—to answer business questions.
• Financial Impact & Scenario Analysis Evaluate the financial implications of strategic initiatives, linking decisions to P&L, cash flow and liquidity outcomes. Run scenario analyses to stress-test assumptions and support data-informed tradeoffs.
• Product Strategy & Opportunity Assessment Support both core product optimization and new business development by synthesizing internal performance signals with external market and competitor intelligence. Identify opportunities to improve product economics, inform go-to-market decisions, and shape feature and pricing strategies for existing & new products.
• Strategic Storytelling Translate complex analyses into concise, narrative-driven presentations and dashboards for C-level audiences.

What you need to succeed

• Excel Mastery: Advanced formulas, dynamic arrays, named ranges and built-in sanity checks for error-resistant models.
• Spreadsheet Storytelling: Clean layouts and intuitive visuals so insights are instantly clear.
• SQL Fluency & Data Shaping: Comfortable writing queries or using equivalent tools to slice, dice and aggregate large datasets.
• Financial Fluency: Understand how P&L, balance sheet and cash flow interconnect with our products and operations.
• Ownership Mentality: You treat your analyses like your responsibility and follow through on details and ensure the best quality
• AI-Powered Efficiency: You leverage AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate analyses and streamline routine tasks
• Fluent English: 100% of the team communication is in English, so fluency is imperative.
