Company Overview
Our client is a boutique consulting firm that supports fast-growing tech startups with talent strategy, recruiting, and executive hiring. They work directly with founders, hiring managers, and leadership teams to help them find and evaluate the right people — from engineers to operators and beyond. This is a lean, experienced team known for quality over quantity. They're trusted by some of the most innovative startups in the U.S. to guide critical hiring decisions.
They’re now hiring a Strategic Research & Interview Assistant — someone who can dig into people, companies, and context, then communicate findings clearly and thoughtfully.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Researching candidates — reading CVs, LinkedIn profiles, and portfolios to understand their background.
- Researching companies and markets — understanding who’s hiring, who’s competing, and where great talent might be coming from.
- Interviewing candidates — leading early calls to evaluate experience, communication skills, and alignment with the role.
- Pitching the opportunity — helping candidates understand the company and role clearly during your calls.
- Writing clear summaries — turning your research and interviews into concise notes that help the hiring team make decisions.
- Supporting the process — keeping candidate info organized and updating tools like Airtable or Notion as the process moves forward.
What We’re Looking For
- You’re fluent in English — written and spoken — and feel confident leading video calls.
- You enjoy learning about people and noticing patterns in their background or behavior.
- You’re comfortable talking to professionals, asking thoughtful questions, and taking structured notes.
- You can organize what you learn into short, clear written summaries.
- You’re curious about startups and tech roles — even if you don’t have recruiting experience.
- You’re self-directed, detail-oriented, and like making things better as you go.
Nice to Have (but not required)
- Experience in research, writing, teaching, editing, psychology, journalism, operations, or similar roles.
- Some exposure to tech roles or companies — not in recruiting, but through your work, studies, or interests.
- Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn, Google Sheets, Airtable, or Notion.
- A natural curiosity about how people think, work, and grow in their careers.
Why You’ll Love This Role
- Get deep exposure to how fast-growing startups hire — especially in product, engineering, and strategy.
- Work directly with a senior leader who’s built talent functions at companies like Clear Street, Wayfair, and Bridgewater.
- Learn how to assess candidates in context — not just based on resumes.
- Work remotely with a small, thoughtful, and respectful team.
- Build a flexible, long-term role around your strengths and learning goals.
Pay & Setup
- Flexible schedule — part-time or full-time available.
- Remote – open to candidates based in Latin America.
- Working hours are flexible, but you should be available for calls during North American business hours.
- Hourly rate: $15–$20 USD / hour, depending on experience.
This is an immediate opening — apply now if you're curious, thoughtful, and ready to try something different.
Application Deadline: April 30, 2025
