Tecban is seeking aSenior Strategic Procurement Director in São Paulo to lead a multi‑category sourcing function and drive category strategies. You will partner with internal teams to optimize value, negotiate terms, and manage risk while steering governance and process excellence.

The role requires 15+ years in strategic procurement, English fluency, and a track record of managing high‑impact teams and complex categories with strong financial acumen.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Economics.
• Postgraduate degree in Business Management, Finance or Strategic Procurement Management.
• Specialization in Process Management or Risk Management.
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Finance, Strategic Negotiation, Planning, People Management, Performance Management, Risk Management, Cost Management, Process Management, KPI management, legal and tax matters, and Strategic Vision.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and lead the Strategic Procurement team to manage a spend of several billions.
• Control strategic processes to ensure supply according to SLAs and guidelines.
• Secure best terms for price, quality and service while complying with policies.
• Drive strategic innovation in high‑complexity categories and monitor risks.
• Develop strategies for complex categories using market insights and tools.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and maximize EBITDA and cash flow.
• Engage, lead, develop and motivate the team, including succession planning.
• Ensure adherence to ethics, processes, policies and standards.

• Monitor and develop the Strategic Procurement team, managing a spend of R$ 2.6 billion across 35 categories.
• Control strategic processes to ensure the supply of materials and services according to Tecban's SLAs and guidelines.
• Secure the best acquisition terms for price, quality and service while complying with company policies, regulations and Compliance requirements.
• Drive strategic innovation in high‑complexity categories, anticipating market movements and monitoring risks.
• Develop short-, medium- and long-term strategies for complex categories using market insights and intelligence tools.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and maximize efficiency, EBITDA and cash flow.
• Engage, lead, develop and motivate the team, including succession planning.
• Ensure adherence to the code of ethics, processes, policies and standards.
• Maintain area governance, process excellence, technology, innovation and professional development.
• Control budget, sourcing calendar, projects, initiatives and performance indicators.
• Monitor the market, define category strategies, negotiate and engage suppliers.
• Support supplier strategies and negotiations using robust negotiation and strategic sourcing techniques.
• Act as a partner to internal areas, providing intelligence and insights to reduce costs and ensure sustainable supply.
• Oversee projects for new products and services, supplier migrations and action plans.
• Manage annual targets and define, implement and monitor performance indicators.
• Plan and allocate human, technological and financial resources in line with the company strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Economics.
• Postgraduate degree in Business Management, Finance or Strategic Procurement Management.
• Desirable specialization in Process Management or Risk Management.
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in a similar role.
