Staff-Level Web Software Engineer
São Paulo or Porto Alegre, Brazil

Location and Flexibility
This is a hybrid role requiring work in São Paulo (2 times/week or 8 days/month) or Porto Alegre (3 times/week or 12 days/month). Our culture promotes in-person collaboration and innovation.

The Opportunity
As a Staff Web Software Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader, guiding software development efforts, breaking down large projects, and ensuring best practices in web trends and accessibility.

Responsibilities

1. Guide cross-team engineers in platform design patterns.
2. Optimize CI infrastructure for efficiency.
3. Contribute to release testing strategies.
4. Resolve project conflicts through strong communication.

Qualifications

1. 10+ years of web development experience.
2. Proficiency in Javascript, HTML, CSS, React, and other frameworks like Vue, Angular, Next, or Web Components.
3. Understanding of backend systems, databases, security, and APIs.
4. Experience with web security standards.
5. Strong stakeholder engagement and planning skills.
6. Ability to learn new technologies rapidly.
7. Effective communication of complex technical information.

Bonus Points

• Experience with automated testing and debugging tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.
