You’ll spend roughly 70% building backend features and 30% owning DevOps/SRE foundations that keep mission‑critical payments & data flows running flawlessly.

What You’ll Do

• Ship backend features in Python/Django that power APIs, data pipelines and third‑party integrations (REST/SFTP).
• Scale a Postgres‑centric data layer: indexing, partitioning, sharding, performance tuning.
• Operate cloud infrastructure on AWS (EKS/Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker) and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Level‑up observability: dashboards, alerting, SLOs, and participate in a fair on‑call rotation.
• Collaborate directly with product & founding engineers; influence architecture and tech‑stack decisions.

Ideal Background

• 4+years building production backends (Django required; extra languages welcome).
• Proven track record running AWS+Kubernetes in production with Terraform/IaC.
• Deep understanding of relational DB performance and high‑throughput integrations.
• Comfortable balancing product delivery with infrastructure ownership in a small team.
• Excellent English; able to work UTC‑5–UTC‑3 (Brazil,Peru,Chile,Argentina).

Bonus points: Redis, Helm, ElasticSearch, Supabase edge functions, or previous work in payments / collections / HR‑tech.
