As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you are an essential member of an agile team focused on developing trusted, market-leading technology solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Leverage your deep technical expertise and problem-solving skills to address diverse challenges across multiple technologies and applications, driving significant business impact.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to support the business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Manage Business As Usual (BAU) activities and local initiatives affecting platforms such as last mile clearing connectors.
  • Implement changes in Matera, SGR to meet country regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the Cards Transformation program and modernize Clearing processes, including SPB.
  • Serve as Application Owner for local platforms supporting our products (Matera, SGR, Axon, Craton, SPB, SPI).
  • Oversee product ownership with an end-to-end view for products supported by local platforms (e.g., Boletos).
  • Supervise trade products, including FX exchange flows supporting ACC/ACE and regulatory processes for local guarantees in TPS.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • 5-10+ years of experience as a technology leader in the banking industry.
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience with agile methodologies.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
  • 3+ years of experience developing distributed applications using modern technologies such as Cloud, Microservices, Web Services, API Gateway, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Gemfire, Spring, Oracle, SQL Server, Linux, Java, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure components including firewalls, switches, routers, and disaster recovery pairs.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical financial systems, especially in payments technology, is highly advantageous.
  • Exposure to disaster recovery planning and testing.
