Amazon BR is seeking an AVS Sr. Team Lead to oversee a team of Brand Specialists. Amazon Vendor Services offers a suite of services aimed at helping Amazon's strategic vendors grow and enhance customer experience by working across key retail levers such as selection, availability, operational efficiency, catalog quality, and marketing. This service is primarily delivered through Brand Specialists dedicated to specific vendors.

As the leader of the AVS team, your primary responsibility will be to impact a large group of vendors by ensuring the team meets its goals. Your focus will include helping vendors improve their performance on key retail metrics, ensuring their satisfaction with our services, and continuously enhancing team productivity. You will collaborate closely with Vendor Managers and Brand Specialists to understand vendor needs, set appropriate goals, and targets. Regular meetings with Category Leaders will support strategic decision-making, and you will contribute to ongoing service improvements and innovations.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about people management, resourceful, and customer-focused, with a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced, dynamic environments while managing diverse stakeholder needs.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Partner with Vendor Managers, Brand Specialists, and retail category functions to define priorities and operational goals based on vendor needs.
  2. Manage a team of Brand Specialists responsible for joint business plans for strategic vendors, accountable for business results.
  3. Coach and train Brand Specialists on Amazon mechanisms, processes, tools, and business topics, developing necessary skills within the team.
  4. Support business operations by auditing daily activities and driving metric optimization.
  5. Regularly review metrics to improve vendor and employee experience across sub-categories.
  6. Own relevant business areas for your category to maximize results at scale.
  7. Collaborate with the BR AVS team on scaling and efficiency initiatives to boost team productivity.
  8. Drive vendor adoption of Amazon programs.
  9. Develop people into future talent pools for Amazon.
Candidate Requirements
  1. People experience: Passion for coaching and developing people, evidence of leadership (as a direct manager or project leader), active interview experience (MGHD is a prerequisite).
  2. Communication and stakeholder influence: Ability to communicate effectively across groups, build relationships, and deliver through others.
  3. Business knowledge: Previous experience in AVS Retail in other markets besides BR.
  4. Experience: More than 9 months at Level 6 or higher.
  5. Projects: Managed large-scale projects end-to-end.
  6. Languages: Business proficiency in English; willingness to learn Portuguese (Amazon provides means).

Preferred qualifications include Portuguese language skills and a Master’s degree.
