Qualifications

• Knowledge of the financial services industry and mainframe or open systems.
• Experience using production control tools to analyze errors.
• Minimum high school diploma; higher degrees helpful at senior levels.
• Fluent or advanced English required.

About the role

As a Sr Systems Engineer, your skills will keep our industry-changing technology platforms humming smoothly. While building your skills and your career, you’ll support client-facing systems and applications while driving issue resolution and proactively investigating errors.

What you’ll own

• Managing hardware and software in 24x7 processing environment to ensure peak performance at full capacity.
• Recognizing abnormal processing conditions and responding appropriately to resolve errors in a timely manner.

What you’ll bring

• Knowledge of financial services industry and mainframe and/or open systems operating systems.
• Ability to use production control tools and resources to analyze and respond to all system processing errors.
• High school diploma or GED required - Associate’s, bachelor’s or the equivalent experience may be required at higher career levels.
• Advanced English
• Technical knowledge: Linux, Shell script, PostgreSQL, SQL ANS, Connectivity and networks, ISO8583, JSON, Monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana and Nagios
