Amazon.com.br is looking for a Sr. Commercial Planning Manager to join our Retail team in Brazil.
In this position you will be responsible for driving, autonomously, the strategy and execution of high impact projects related to Demand Planning, Forecast, Buying, Vendor Performance and Inventory Management, to maximize product availability, margins and inventory turns, in a scalable way, for your own Product Family or Retail wise.
The right candidate thrives in a high energy and speed environment, where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel and can work with autonomy.
Key job responsibilities
The Sr. Commercial Planning Manager will drive, design and manage scalable solutions to improve Inventory metrics, Planning, Buying and vendors operational excellence creating role model processes.
Main goal is to assure Amazon will have optimal inventory level available to fulfill customer’s needs with minimum working capital to support Product Family growth.
Supply Chain operation review using large amount of data to identify root cause of operational issues;
Define action plan and projects to eliminate defects on Supply Chain, creating sustainable results in the long term;
Cooperate and build relationship with the Product Family Team and Central Team to leverage improvements through new processes and projects;
Basic Qualifications
Experience working with complex data sets
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Bachelor's degree
Solid experience in Supply Chain management, performance metrics, retail and/or consulting;
Project management experience;
Flexible, action and results oriented;
Experience with the creation of alternative solutions for operational processes.
Advanced English proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
Experience with SQL
