Responsibilities

As a Sr Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of a constantly and fast-paced growing company. You will be designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable systems that support the company's financial services, ensuring seamless operations and an excellent user experience. Your work will drive innovation by implementing secure, reliable, and cutting-edge solutions to meet evolving customer needs.

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Propose initial technical implementations supporting architectural changes for scaling and performance.
• Work with version control using GitHub, resolve conflicts, and automate continuous integration processes.
• Create and maintain software documentation.

Qualifications:

• Academic background in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on engineering experience.
• Experience with medium to high complexity domains.
• Solid understanding of web application security, session management, and best practices.
• Knowledge of relational databases and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design; Microservice Architecture is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and master web technologies.
• Proven ability to design high-performance, scalable, and reliable distributed applications.
• Development experience with Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AWS.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and performance tuning.
• Experience applying AI frameworks in development projects.

Industry-Specific Knowledge

Familiarity with financial domains such as lending, payments, credit cards, open finance, fraud prevention, merchant acquiring, or investment services is desirable. Experience in delivering solutions like loan origination engines, scalable payment platforms, secure open-finance interfaces, fraud detection pipelines, or regulatory compliance systems is highly valued.
