Platform Science is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts. You will integrate quality into our CI/CD pipeline and collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable software delivery.

Requirements include a 2–5 year background in software development or test automation, strong programming skills (Python/Java/Go), and hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and API testing tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2-5 years of experience in software development and/or test automation.
• Strong programming skills in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Go).
• Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, PyTest).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github Actions , CircleCI).
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the SDLC.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Stay updated on testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, and share knowledge within the team.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies and provide input on quality and testability.
• May contribute to performance and security testing efforts under guidance.

• Independently design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust test automation frameworks and test scripts using programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Kotlin, JavaScript/Typescript, Go).
• Integrate and enhance test automation within the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
• Develop and execute automated tests for various layers of the application, including unit, integration, API, and UI tests.
• Collaborate effectively with software developers to understand software design and implementation, providing valuable feedback on testability.
• Participate in code reviews to identify potential quality issues and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Build and maintain efficient test environments and manage test data effectively.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work collaboratively with the development team to implement solutions.
• Contribute to the improvement of our software development and testing processes and tools.
