Responsibilities

As a Sr Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of a rapidly growing company. Your main responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable systems that support our financial services, ensuring seamless operations and an excellent user experience. In this competitive and fast-paced industry, you will drive innovation by implementing secure, reliable, and cutting-edge solutions to meet evolving customer needs.

• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code following best software development practices;
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle;
• Create and maintain software documentation;
• Support continuous improvement by exploring new technologies and presenting these for architectural review;
• Mentor and advise other team members and domain experts;
• Solve complex technical problems within your scope;
• Identify opportunities for innovation and experimentation;
• Propose technical solutions to address scaling and performance challenges;
• Facilitate collaboration and remove blockers within your team;
• Communicate the work and impact of your team internally.

Minimum Requirements

• Hands-on engineering experience;
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields;
• Experience dealing with medium complexity domains;
• Solid understanding of web application security, session management, and development best practices;
• Knowledge of relational databases and Object-Oriented Programming;
• Familiarity with Domain Driven Design and Microservice Architecture is a plus;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly;
• Proven experience designing high-performance, scalable, and reliable distributed applications;
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AWS;
• Experience with asynchronous programming and performance tuning;
• Ability to use monitoring tools for production environments.
