HID Global is seeking a Senior Product Owner, Biometric Readers, to lead the biometric reader product line within the PACS portfolio. You will define requirements, prioritize backlogs, and drive cross-functional delivery with engineering, operations and sales teams, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market opportunities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Product Management, or related field.
• Experience in Product Management or Product Ownership for technology products.
• Experience with biometric technologies and solutions.
• Experience with embedded firmware, electro-mechanical products, APIs, and customer-facing software.
• Knowledge of Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and related security technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in remote and global teams.
• Proficiency with Jira; familiarity with Miro, Confluence, MS Teams.

Responsabilidades

• Representing customer, partner, and market needs throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Communicating product strategy, functionality, and value proposition to internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams.
• Defining and communicating clear, actionable, and verifiable product requirements that address internal, external, and market problems that deliver value for the customer.
• Leading and driving activities independently with a results-oriented mindset to ensure deliverables meet functional, quality expectations, and exceptional customer experiences.
• Acting as the single point of contact for feature-level decisions, clarifications, and prioritization on behalf of stakeholders.
• Aligning business objectives, roadmap and execution with the overall PACS Biometric Readers Solution roadmap, strategic vision, business priorities and aspirations.

As a member of the Biometrics Reader Solution team, this position is responsible for the management and successful delivery of HID’s biometric products within the Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) business, while being the representative of and champion for the products owned. This role is a highly cross functional position interacting with Product & Program Management, internal and external Engineering, Operations, Quality, Support, Sales, Pre-Sales, and Customer/Partner contacts. The role requires leadership in maintaining, enhancing, and supporting biometric solutions while evangelizing and training on the product internally. Success in this position requires product owner or product management experience with biometric technologies, embedded firmware, electro-mechanical systems, APIs, and customer-facing software within the physical access control industry.

We are open to both Senior Product Ownerand Product Managerprofiles, depending on experience and fit.

As our Senior Product Owner, Biometric Readers, you’ll support HID’s successby:

• Defining, prioritizing, and managing product requirements, and feature backlogs for biometric reader solutions.

YourExperienceand Background include:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Product Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or a similar role managing technology products.
• Experience with biometric technologies and solutions.
• Experience working with embedded firmware, electro-mechanical products, APIs, and customer-facing software applications.
• Experience defining requirements and working within cross-functional product development environments.
• Knowledge of Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and related security technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote and global team environment.
• Comfortable using Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for communication and tracking.
• Experience with Agile SAFe product development methodologies and tools is preferred.
• Experience working with access control readers, credential technologies, or identity solutions is preferred.
• Advanced degree in a technical or business-related discipline is preferred.
• Proficient in Jira for backlog and board management is preferred.
• Familiar with Miro, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams is preferred.
