If you have a passion for identifying customers needs and communicating exciting product propositions to customers, then this role is for you.

The role of the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Payments is to build product marketing strategies and deploy initiatives that drive awareness, adoption, and ongoing usage of Amazon BR payment methods. The person in this role will work backwards from customer needs and business performance data to identify key business and marketing opportunities and to propose a holistic marketing plan for one of our credit products.

This position will work closely with Product Management, UX, Business Development, PR and Engineering teams, as well as partner with key stakeholder teams across Amazon to deliver experiences that resonates with customers and that meet their payment needs. This role requires the ability to think big, dive deep with technical and analytics teams, and work across partners throughout the larger Payments organization. A successful candidate will be a strong influential leader, with proven record of making data-driven decisions and removing roadblocks, and who is comfortable working with ambiguity or competing priorities. We expect you to be at the center of the customer experience and devising strategies to generate incremental business impact.
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience building product marketing strategies, including targeting segmentation, cross channel strategy and content and communication optimization- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience using customer research, A/B testing, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
