Amazon AWS Services Brazil Ltd is seeking a seasoned leader to head a team of Solutions Architects focused on accelerating AWS adoption among startups in Brazil and beyond. You will guide architectural discussions, shape technical strategy, and ensure successful cloud deployments by teams working directly with customers.

You'll hire, onboard, and develop experts, foster technical skill transfer, and collaborate with product teams to refine offerings for startups. Regional travel expected.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
• Business Communication in English and Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

• Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solution Architects from internal and external sources.
• Build and coach the team on the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are considering or using AWS.
• Educate startup customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Guide and motivate the development of white-papers, data sheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices to influence early stage startup.
• This is a regional role; expect moderate travel.
• Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.

In this role, you’ll manage a team of Solutions Architects that work directly with a variety of customers and help them make the best (and sometimes the most pragmatic) technical decisions along the way. As well as spending time working directly with customers, you’ll also get plenty of time to “sharpen the saw” and keep your skills fresh. We have more than 200 services across a range of different categories and it’s important that we can help startups take advantages of the right ones. You and your team will also play an important role as advocates with our product teams to make sure we are building the right products for the startups you work with.
