Position: Magento / Adobe Commerce Engineer

We are seeking a Magento / Adobe Commerce Engineer with a strong background in object-oriented programming and Magento. The ideal candidate values challenging and innovative projects and takes pride in their work. In this role, you will participate in a team responsible for implementing Magento solutions and developing innovative e-commerce solutions following best practices.

This position is open to remote candidates located within Latin America.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement innovative features and functionalities for e-commerce using Magento.
2. Collaborate with a team of passionate e-commerce professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
3. Understand e-commerce business requirements and translate them into coherent solutions.
4. Perform unit testing and ensure the quality of your work.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience with Magento in the backend, including building custom modules from scratch and troubleshooting.
2. 8+ years of experience with PHP, MySQL, and Web Applications.
3. Experience with Docker.
4. Comfortable working on the frontend when required.
5. Ambition and strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
2. Experience optimizing and refactoring application code.
3. Experience with web server configurations and scaling web applications.
