What's the role?

The Sr HR Business Partner designs, implements, and monitors human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, equal opportunity, and diversity. They anticipate and plan for long-term human resource needs and trends. The role requires knowledge of best practices and understanding how their area integrates with others, as well as awareness of market competition.

Main Responsibilities

  • Works closely with management to implement corporate HR policies, organizational development, and employee development at the business unit or division level.
  • Consults with employees and managers to address HR issues, resolving employee relations problems systematically.
  • Participates in company-wide programs such as salary reviews, stock renewals, workforce planning, and organizational change.
  • Assists senior management in developing solutions through organizational and cultural perspectives.
  • May administer talent management and succession planning activities within the client organization.
  • Key skills include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.
  • Solves complex problems, exercises judgment based on multiple information sources, and takes innovative perspectives on existing solutions.

Who are you?

  • Minimum of 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3+ years with a Master's; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of own discipline and basic understanding of related disciplines.
  • Works independently with minimal guidance.
  • May lead projects or project steps within broader initiatives, serving as a resource for colleagues.
  • Excellent English skills.
