Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic communications leader to serve as Senior Director, Executive & Employee Communications. This role will unify executive and employee communications under one leader, ensuring consistent, impactful storytelling that connects CrowdStrike’s mission, strategy, and leadership voice to our growing global workforce.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of executive and employee communications across CrowdStrike, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate priorities.
- Partner with C-level executives to develop compelling communications that inspire and engage employees, while reinforcing CrowdStrike’s mission, values, and strategic direction.
- Drive the design and delivery of company-wide communications, including global town halls, all-hands meetings, organizational announcements, and change management initiatives.
- Develop and implement executive visibility programs to amplify leadership voices internally, partnering with PR and external comms teams where appropriate.
- Provide direct communications support for senior leaders beyond the CEO and President, while ensuring alignment with overall executive communications strategy.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to communicate key people initiatives, programs, and organizational priorities, ensuring clarity, transparency, and consistency.
- Partner closely with the CCO and Global Head of Communications on narrative delivery, translating strategic messaging into executive and employee programs that scale.
- Manage and mentor a team of directors and managers, building discipline, capabilities, and best practices across executive and employee communications.
- Design and scale repeatable executive and employee communications programs that can grow with the company, establishing operating models, best practices, and standards.
- Establish metrics and feedback mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of executive and employee communications, driving continuous improvement.
- Operate as a hands-on contributor, writing, editing, and producing high-stakes content, including speeches, leadership messages, videos, and presentations.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of communications experience, including leadership roles in executive and employee communications within fast-paced, global organizations.
- Proven success advising and supporting senior executives, with exceptional keynote, speechwriting, messaging, and storytelling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and optimize employee and executive communications in a high-growth company, driving alignment and engagement across global teams.
- Strong experience in change management communications, with the ability to translate complex business priorities into clear, motivating narratives.
- Executive and boardroom presence with the judgment, discretion, and influence to operate as a trusted partner to senior leadership.
- Hands-on writing and execution skills, capable of delivering polished communications for high-stakes internal moments.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Deep understanding of how to effectively manage executive and employee audiences, tailoring communications to resonate across different stakeholders.
- Cybersecurity or enterprise technology experience is highly preferred; candidates must bring industry fluency and the ability to communicate with technical and business audiences alike.

The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $190,000 - $290,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package.
