Could you be the full-time Sr Buyer in São Paulo we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in sourcing, supplier management, and cost modeling in a dynamic and innovative environment. You’ll work alongside collaborative and proactive teammates.

You\'ll play a key role in fostering supplier relationships and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, supply chain, and project management), consolidate commodity inputs, and ensure alignment with Alstom\'s sourcing processes, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of managing supplier panel relationships and supporting commodity strategies, but also actively participate in project coordination and negotiations.

We’ll look to you for:

Supporting global supplier panel relationships

Managing specific supplier panel relationships, including negotiations and performance monitoring

Monitoring day-to-day supplier performance and addressing initial issues

Consolidating commodity needs and inputs

Participating in the development of commodity strategies and differentiation initiatives

Representing commodities in tender phases and project discussions

Coordinating projects with all relevant stakeholders

Preparing and launching Requests for Quotation (RFQ) with suppliers

Leading project negotiations and ensuring QCDT (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technical) commitments

Promoting and adhering to Alstom’s Code of Ethics and guidelines

Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields (desirable)

Knowledge of the electronic, telecom, services, and components market or related areas

Negotiation skills and a focus on competitiveness

Fluency in English
