The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of relevant SAP experience and strong analytical skills. Fluency in both English and Portuguese is required. This position offers a remote working arrangement in Brazil.

Position Summary

Sr. Associate Support Engineer, SAP MM/WM (remote, Brazil). Provide remote-based support for SAP applications as part of a global customer support team, researching, troubleshooting, and supporting multiple SAP modules for clients using 4.x and ECC environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Solve customer issues using methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of SAP applications functionality and technology.
• Work with customers daily to understand their needs, support business change, and deliver a consistently high quality customer experience.
• Configure, present, and discuss best practices and functionalities of the SAP WM and MM modules; support client customizations, sharing experience and best practices advice.
• Develop or work with a developer to deliver application break fixes for critical product defects.
• Provide hands‑on assistance using proprietary tools in a test environment or via remote client connectivity.
• Be a proactive contributor to a 24x7x365 support organization, requiring flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays, and monitor email regularly outside standard business hours.
• Collaborate with team members in a virtual environment to extend field experience to different client situations.
• Contribute to the development and management of knowledge‑sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes to improve the client experience.

Experience and Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant SAP experience, particularly with MM/WM modules.
• 2–3 years of support for application end‑users in a corporate environment.
• Working knowledge and understanding of supporting business processes.
• Analytical and logical problem‑resolution skills.
• SAP certification(s) preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance/patching mechanics and SAP architecture.
• Experience solving complex problems across multiple modules.
• Passionate focus on customer support and ability to build long‑term relationships with clients.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (verbal & written).
• Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work calmly and professionally in high‑pressure situations.
• Ability to work remotely from a home‑based office in a virtual environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of multiple SAP modules across SAP releases (4.x & ECC) including proficiency with SAP product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, configuration requirements, and integration with other modules.
• Knowledge of any country‑specific solutions.
• Consulting background, while not mandatory, would be useful.
• Experience with localizations and global implementations would be an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Language fluency in both English and Portuguese is required.
