Primary Purpose of this Position:

This position is part of the Manager, Finance Operations leadership team and focuses on delivering effective business partnership to our regional operations teams. The role aims to drive financial value through operating cost improvements, supporting growth initiatives.

The role supports two critical areas:

  1. Provide regional/central technical leadership and support to the Operations Finance Leadership team, acting as the first point of escalation for problem-solving and leading projects or project steps.
  2. Provide backup support to Plant Finance Supervisors at manufacturing plants within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted business partner supporting decision-making and driving EVA performance improvements.
  • Oversee regional reporting and consolidation of financial KPIs monthly, quarterly, and YTD.
  • Assist in analyzing month-end financial results, annual operating plans, and quarterly reforecasts.
  • Identify spending trends and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Support plant finance tasks such as financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and capital budget management.
  • Support initiatives to enhance EVA performance and educate non-finance teams to improve financial and business acumen.
  • Communicate financial summaries effectively to management.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and financial modeling as needed.

Note: This role does NOT include responsibilities for accounting close, journal entries, physical inventories, or reconciliation activities, which are handled by other teams.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Training or experience in finance, forecasting, and business principles.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing skills, and system proficiency, especially in Excel, ERP systems (SAP, JDE), and Hyperion Essbase.
  • Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and adapt standard finance techniques.
  • Manufacturing experience and English language skills are desirable.
