Amazon is seeking a Solutions Architect to design end-to-end technical solutions for customers by understanding their business context and technology challenges. You will act as a trusted advisor, develop reusable reference architectures, and collaborate with sales, engineering, and services to translate feedback into requirements.

The role emphasizes delivering technical content, leading design discussions, and shaping architecture that supports customers' long-term goals.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking or data & analytics.
• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

• Develop and deliver technical content including presentations, workshops, and written guidance that incorporates lessons learned from customer engagements, and share best practices with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams across sales, engineering, professional services, and support to progress customer opportunities, identify product gaps, and translate customer feedback into actionable technical requirements.

A day in the life

You start your morning reviewing a customer's architecture proposal, identifying areas where the design can be simplified or made more resilient. By midday, you are leading a working session with a customer's engineering team, whiteboarding a migration strategy and walking through the implications of different approaches. In the afternoon, you might join a peer design review with fellow architects, contribute feedback on a colleague's solution, or draft a reusable reference architecture based on a pattern you recently delivered.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries

• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud

• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
